Qualifications

  • Saudi National.
  • Technical diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in contract administration, commercial operations, project coordination, or related functions.
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, heavy industry, equipment support, or complex project environments.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Experience monitoring contractual commitments, payment obligations, and performance requirements.
  • Demonstrated capability managing contractor, supplier, and vendor relationships.
  • Practical knowledge of commercial risk identification and contract compliance.
  • Experience handling variations, change control, and supporting contractual dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of invoice review and validation against contractual deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating commercial information between Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
  • Ability to prepare accurate management reports, commercial justifications, and compliance updates.
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement practical workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer commercial contracts throughout the full lifecycle from award and mobilization through performance monitoring and closeout.
  • Maintain complete visibility of contractual deliverables, milestone dates, financial obligations, and administrative requirements.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier commitments against agreed scope, service levels, safety requirements, and performance standards.
  • Track payment milestones and confirm required contractual conditions are satisfied before payment processing.
  • Maintain contract registers, obligation trackers, payment records, variation logs, correspondence files, and supporting commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounting teams to validate invoices against contract scope, approved deliverables, rates, and payment terms.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate resolution with relevant contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor outstanding financial dues and support timely processing of approved payments.
  • Review contractual obligations throughout project execution and identify potential non‑compliance or performance concerns.
  • Identify commercial and operational risks associated with contract delivery and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Maintain risk records for assigned contracts and monitor the status of agreed corrective measures.
  • Support change control by recording proposed scope changes, variations, amendments, and commercial impacts.
  • Coordinate evaluation of contract variations with operations, engineering, finance, and project management teams.
  • Maintain clear records of approved, rejected, and pending contractual changes.
  • Support resolution of contract disputes by compiling relevant records, correspondence, approvals, and supporting evidence.
  • Monitor contractual issues that could affect continuity of operations and elevate significant concerns to management.
  • Serve as a primary coordination point for clients, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on contract administration matters.
  • Maintain professional working relationships that support timely delivery and resolution of commercial issues.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to confirm contract requirements remain aligned with actual service or project needs.
  • Work with engineering personnel to clarify technical scope, deliverables, and contractor responsibilities.
  • Provide finance teams with accurate information on contractual values, payment status, variations, and financial commitments.
  • Support project managers with current contract status, outstanding actions, risks, and administrative priorities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly contract performance reports for project and executive management.
  • Develop commercial summaries covering payments, deliverables, variations, risk items, and contractor performance.
  • Prepare commercial justifications and supporting narratives for management review and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records demonstrating adherence to contractual and organizational procedures.
  • Support contract audits and governance reviews by maintaining complete and traceable documentation.
  • Review operational workflows connected to contract administration and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement practical process improvements that reduce delays, duplication, and unnecessary administrative effort.
  • Analyse recurring contract issues and recommend changes that improve cost efficiency or service performance.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier responsiveness against agreed commitments and elevate repeated performance failures where necessary.
  • Assist with final contract reconciliation, outstanding obligation checks, and closeout activities.
  • Verify all required documentation, payments, variations, and deliverables are appropriately resolved before contract closure.
  • Maintain contract management documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and approved commercial systems.
  • Provide accurate records and management information in support of decision‑making and long‑term supplier performance evaluation.
