You will oversee commercial strategy, cost control, variations, claims, procurement negotiations, and financial performance, coordinating with project teams and senior management.

The role requires strong leadership of commercial teams on landmark projects delivered by top-tier contractors.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing mega-scale building projects in Riyadh.
• Track record with Tier-1/main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard forms.
• Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies.
• Experience in cost control, variations, claims, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall commercial and contractual functions from pre-contract to final account.
• Develop and implement the project's commercial strategy in line with objectives.
• Manage major contracts and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Review and administer FIDIC and other construction contracts.
• Lead variations, claims, extensions of time, and notices.
• Oversee cost, cash flow, profitability, and commercial performance.
• Approve interim payments, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
• Negotiate procurement with major subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Establish cost-control and reporting systems for senior management.
• Collaborate with Project Directors, Planning, Cost Control, Procurement, Finance, Legal.
• Lead close-out and final account processes.
