A leading recruitment agency in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Purchasing Officer responsible for sourcing and procuring materials for interior and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in purchasing within the fit-out or construction sectors and possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is essential. This role offers a structured working hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Summary

Job Summary: The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment required for interior and fit-out projects. The role ensures that all purchases are made in line with project budgets, timelines, and company standards, maintaining strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, materials, and subcontractors for interior and fit-out projects.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.

• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to forecast material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and KSA regulations.

Develop and maintain vendor databases for key materials and products.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the fit-out/interiors or construction industry.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of interior finishing materials, joinery, and furniture sourcing.
