Responsibilities

• Identifying what goods services or works are needed by the company
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the specifications and expectations of the company
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
• Reviewing comparing and analyzing products and services to be purchased
• Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best deal
• Preparing budgets cost analyses and reports
• Preparing and managing purchase orders in accordance with the company s needs and budget
• Monitoring and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
• Managing relationships with suppliers to maintain quality of goods timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts PO
• Reviewing and managing the company s procurement strategy
• Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policy
• Maintaining and updating supplier database
• Assessing managing and mitigating risks in procurement process

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Any professional certifications in procurement are added advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a procurement officer.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• Talent in negotiations and networking.
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
