Job summary

Rawaj HCM Jobs in Riyadh seeks a Procurement Officer with a solid furniture industry background to manage end-to-end procurement, sourcing high-quality furniture, and vendor relations.

You will ensure on-time delivery within budget, oversee shipping, customs, and SASO/SABER compliance, and coordinate with designers and clients on samples. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in furniture procurement, strong negotiation and English fluency, and deep knowledge of the Saudi market.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of procurement experience in Furniture, FF&E, or interior fit-out.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market, local suppliers, and KSA customs.
• Fluency in English; ability to read BOQs, specs, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL) tailored to the KSA market.
• Review BOQs, technical specs, and project drawings to prepare RFQs and Tenders.
• Conduct commercial and technical evaluations to prepare detailed price comparison sheets.
• Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
• Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and supply chain logistics for imported furniture.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, SABER platform, and SASO standards.
• Coordinate sample approval processes with designers and client representatives.
• Track purchase orders from production to site delivery, ensuring zero disruption to project timelines.

Job Context: working as a Procurement Officer with a solid background in the furniture industry and deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, sourcing high-quality furniture, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget while complying with Saudi market regulations.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain a robust Approved Vendor List (AVL) tailored to the KSA market.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and project drawings to prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Tenders.
• Conduct commercial and technical evaluations to prepare detailed price comparison sheets.
• Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
• Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and supply chain logistics for imported furniture.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, including registration and certification via the SABER platform and SASO standards.
• Coordinate sample approval processes (Mock-ups) with designers and client representatives.
• Track purchase orders from production to site delivery, ensuring zero disruption to project timelines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 6 years of proven procurement experience specifically in Furniture, FF&E, or Interior Fit-out.
• In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market, local suppliers, and KSA customs regulations.
• Proficiency in reading BOQs, technical drawings, and using ERP procurement tools.
• Practical experience with the SABER platform and Saudi import standards.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
