Job summary

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly welcome and seat guests at dining outlets, manage reservations, and set the tone for luxury hospitality. You will coordinate table allocations, monitor ambiance, and assist in peak times to minimize wait times.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in guest service, with English fluency and a professional, welcoming demeanor. High school diploma is required; hospitality training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality training is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in guest service, front desk, or F&B hosting role preferred.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage guest reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently and accurately.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus for a seamless seating experience.
• Coordinate table flow with service and kitchen teams to optimize seating capacity.
• Monitor dining area readiness, cleanliness, and ambiance during service.
• Handle guest inquiries and seating preferences professionally.
• Communicate with F&B staff regarding table status and guest needs.
• Assist in peak times to minimize wait times and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate reservation records using the restaurant management system.
• Support VIP guest recognition and personalized service standards.
• Handle guest complaints calmly and elevate when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, grooming, and presentation guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervisors/managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in promoting restaurant offerings, events, and experiences when required.
