Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a luxury Food & Beverage environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and engaging personality.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with luxury hospitality.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Experience working within a Forbes standard hotel or luxury hospitality environment is highly advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills required; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, creating an exceptional first impression.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables ensuring a seamless seating experience.
• Coordinate table flow with service and kitchen teams.
• Monitor restaurant readiness, cleanliness, ambience, and presentation standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally.
• Communicate with the F&B team regarding table status and guest needs.
• Assist in managing peak dining periods to optimise guest experience.
• Maintain accurate reservation records using management systems.
• Support VIP recognition and deliver personalised guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally.
