AMIT International Group FZE is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer for a full-time on-site position in KSA Al‑Khobar Al‑Sedfah. The role involves providing comprehensive technical support for desktop systems, managing computer hardware, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of printers and peripherals. This position also includes remote support for AMIT offices globally. The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support end‑users, and maintain system performance to ensure uninterrupted workflow. Beyond day‑to‑day desktop support the role contributes to broader IT infrastructure, applications, security, and governance activities, acting as a trusted partner for all tech‑related needs.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure & Operations: Manage end‑user computing, network infrastructure, and on‑site IT setups. Coordinate hardware procurement, vendor management, and asset lifecycle tracking. Oversee LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi deployments, firewalls, and connectivity. Ensure high availability and uptime of IT systems. Conduct site assessments and IT readiness checks for AMIT Stores.
• AV system understanding Digital Signage Screens. Provide technical support for desktop systems, computer hardware, and peripherals, including printer support and maintenance. Deliver remote support or on‑field visits to Stores & Warehouse offices when required. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain system performance and uninterrupted workflow.
• Applications Management: Coordinate enterprise applications (ERP). Manage user access and onboarding/offboarding. Work with vendors for support and enhancements. Support integrations with SAP B1. Ensure smooth deployment of IT tools.
• IT Security & Compliance: Implement IT security policies aligned with global standards. Manage endpoint security, antivirus, and patching. Support audits and compliance checks. Coordinate incident response. Ensure data protection and access governance.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Act as a bridge between local and global IT teams. Participate in regional/global IT discussions. Provide clear updates and documentation. Align with global IT standards and serve as a trusted partner for all tech‑related needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in desktop computers and computer hardware.
• Hands‑on experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of printer support and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to handle remote support and on‑site client visits.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• A KSA Driving License will be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft 365 Certified, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation.
