Job summary

A leading technology firm in Riyadh seeks an experienced IT Governance Manager to implement and manage governance processes. You will prepare performance reports and develop frameworks in compliance with regulations such as SAMA ITGF. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of IT governance experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT governance.
  • Professional certifications in governance, risk management, or compliance preferred.
  • Good experience in SAMA ITGF, NCA, PCI-DSS regulations.

Experience – 5+ years in IT Governance

Job Description

Implements and manages the day‑to‑day operations of IT governance processes.

  • Prepares reports on IT governance performance and compliance for the IT Governance Head and other stakeholders.
  • Supports the development, implementation, and periodic review of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with SAMA IT Governance Framework (ITGF) and other related standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO).
  • Works with other technology teams to address internal and external audit observations and collect the required evidence.
  • Monitors and controls the IT Service Management performance such as change management, release management, assets management…etc.
  • Conducts detailed risk assessments and reporting.
  • Collaborates with the IT technical team and the IT security team to regularly and on‑demand identify vulnerabilities, and develop a remediation plan based on these assessments.
  • Ensures all IT contracts are processed through procurement, signed, and properly maintained.
  • Monitors IT performance metrics (KPIs / KRIs) and prepares dashboards / reports for the IT Steering Committee (ITSC) and senior management.
  • Conducts awareness and training sessions for IT staff on governance, compliance, and risk processes.
Other Skills / Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in governance, risk management, or compliance (e.g., COBIT, CGEIT, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience in E‑GRC tools is preferred.
  • Good experience in SAMA ITGF, NCA, PCI‑DSS regulations.
  • Strong background in process improvement and policy development.
  • Experienced in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology risks.
  • Banking experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a teamwork environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
