Job description

The ideal candidate should have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with clients. The candidate should be confident in communicating regularly with clients in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects.
• Meet with clients in order to understand their objectives and desires.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and Umq team in order to address clients' needs.
• Prepare presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups, and renderings) for clients.
• Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed.
• Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design, Art, Architecture.
• 1-4 years preferred relevant experience in F&B, Retail and Offices
• Proficient in drafting and detail drawings
• Skilled in design software
• Strong creative and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute.
• Sketching + drawing, space, and environments.
• Relevant working experience in concept art in interior design.
• Experience using the iPad Pro, photoshop, or other digital painting software.
• Strong visualization skills including composition, perspective, and color theory.
• Good observation and research skills
• Knowledge of form, scale, composition, use of detail, and visual storytelling.
