Job summary

Technically experienced VAS Performance Engineer role in Saudi Arabia focusing on Ericsson IN/VAS and charging platforms. Drive performance analysis, optimization, and assurance for high-volume subscriber environments, leveraging KPI tracking, CDR/log tracing, and BI tooling.

Work across BSS/CRM/ESDP integrations, develop HLD/LLD/MOP documentation, and contribute to automation, capacity forecasting, and predictive analytics for major national events.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Ericsson IN, VAS, and charging systems.
• Extensive experience in VAS performance analysis, optimization, and KPI management.
• Expertise in charging configuration, CDR analysis, and signaling trace investigations.
• Understanding of BSS, CRM, ESDP, and charging platform integrations.
• Experience developing HLD, LLD, and MOP documentation.
• Knowledge of 5G SA architecture and VAS/SDF performance statistics.
• Hands-on experience with ENIQ and UPM platforms.
• Strong SQL skills for telecom data analysis.
• Experience with Python, Linux Shell scripting, and VBA automation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience supporting large mobile operator environments and carrier-grade platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed performance analysis of Ericsson IN, VAS, and charging platforms.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize VAS KPIs to ensure service quality and operational excellence.
• Investigate charging, signaling, and service-related issues through CDR and trace analysis.
• Support Ericsson and customer teams with performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain performance reporting tools, dashboards, and automation solutions.
• Analyze platform behavior during high-traffic events and implement optimization recommendations.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting to ensure infrastructure readiness.
• Support integration activities involving BSS, CRM, ESDP, and charging platforms.
• Create and review High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
• Conduct audits and ensure operational compliance with established standards and practices.
• Utilize ENIQ and UPM platforms for data collection, reporting, and performance assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
• Implement automation and data analytics solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
