Job summary

Sofitel in Saudi Arabia invites applications for a Learning & Development Coordinator. You will support planning, coordinating, implementing, and administering learning initiatives across the hotel to align with Sofitel standards and objectives.

Key duties include organizing the annual L&D plan, managing training calendars, inductions, and materials, and ensuring training effectiveness. Strong English skills and hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in learning & development, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written English communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the hotel's annual Learning & Development plan.
• Coordinate internal training programs, workshops, and learning activities for all departments.
• Prepare and maintain monthly training calendars and schedules.
• Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new employees.
• Support departmental trainers in preparing and delivering training sessions.
• Maintain and update training materials, presentations, manuals, and learning resources.
• Monitor employee attendance and participation in training programs.
• Follow up on external training programs and ensure effective application of learning in the workplace.
• Promote e-learning and digital learning platforms across the hotel.
• Assist in identifying training needs based on performance reviews, guest feedback, audits, and departmental requirements.
