Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Director specialized in Roads and Highways to lead our health and safety initiatives during the development and delivery of key transportation projects. This critical role requires a dedicated professional who can ensure compliance with high safety standards while promoting a culture of safety across all aspects of highway and road construction. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive health and safety programs and strategies that safeguard employees, contractors, and the public throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored health and safety strategies and policies specific to road and highway projects, in alignment with Qiddiya’s operational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits of construction sites to identify hazards and enforce mitigation measures.
  • Lead incident investigation processes, determining root causes of accidents and developing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and deliver specialized training programs for staff, ensuring robust knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance within road and highway operations.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to integrate safety considerations into project planning, scheduling, and execution phases.
  • Monitor health and safety performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management on compliance and areas requiring improvement.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to ensure full adherence to health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Champion a culture of safety by promoting continuous improvement and innovative safety practices across road and highway projects.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and legislative changes regarding road safety management to enhance current practices.

Qualifications
