Job description

Job Purpose / Objective

Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of HMG buildings and facilities. The position holder will perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements. Liaise with department for receiving and entering all maintenance work orders; assigned and scheduled to the technicians.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Plan and organize work schedule and special assignments to the subordinates.
• Establish and maintain the highest standard of maintenance works in all their job responsibilities procedures, techniques and policies of most efficient manner.
• Provide professional support in planning, implementing and facilities equipment maintenance program.
• Manage daily operations, repair and improve preventive maintenance system.
• Manage subordinate engineers and technician personnel.
• Read and interpret project work order and determine required materials/equipment and prepare execution.
• Control and manage budget and expense of facility operation and maintenance
• Report to his immediate supervisor of any variations from Normal operation state.
• Provide maintenance of performance monitoring data for his assigned area.
• Work at all times in a safe manner within the scope of the Policies and Procedures of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Hospital.
• Prepare and follow up purchase requisition for required maintenance materials.
• Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable works and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education/ Professional Qualification

Bachelor’s in Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant.

Experience

Three (3) years of experience in the same capacity.
