The Document Controller will maintain the controlled information environment that enables project teams, consultants, contractors, and Client representatives to work from accurate and current documentation. The position goes beyond routine filing by administering Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows, controlling revisions and approvals, monitoring outstanding responses, protecting document traceability, and supporting project audits. Effective document governance in this role will reduce information errors, prevent the use of superseded records, and provide a dependable project history through construction and final close-out.
The position requires a Bachelor 's Degree, Diploma, specialized document management training, or an equivalent relevant qualification, combined with at least 8 years of document control experience. Candidates should have at least 4 years of practical EDMS experience on large-scale projects and demonstrate expert-level capability with Autodesk Construction Cloud. This should include project setup and administration, folder and permission configuration, submittal and RFI management, workflows, and control of design and construction documentation. Experience managing records throughout the complete project lifecycle is essential, particularly within integrated engineering, construction, project management, or professional services environments. At least 3 years of Gulf region experience is preferred. Strong written and spoken English, technical communication ability, computer proficiency, and confidence handling large volumes of documentation are important. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing concurrent priorities while maintaining precise records, dependable document histories, and timely reporting.
