Job summary

Kaynuna Beach Escape, Yanbu, part of Kerten Hospitality, seeks a Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will assist in a section, cook to spec, train Commis Chefs, and uphold HACCP and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and culinary guidelines.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs within your section, providing training and mentorship as needed.
• Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards.
• Help monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management for your section.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of your workstation and equipment.
• Assist in controlling food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring correct portion sizes.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and culinary team to learn and contribute to new menu ideas.
