Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to manage a section under supervision and work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs, providing training as needed.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards.
• Help monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of workstation and equipment.
• Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
