Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead to develop and implement delivery strategies during the RFP/Bid Defense cycle. You will bridge sales, medical, and operations to ensure seamless execution and support sales throughout business development.

The role requires deep knowledge of the biopharma landscape, global clinical research experience, and strong leadership in a matrix organization. Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of scientific, clinical operations, real world, regulatory and competitive landscape in applicable therapeutic area.
• Strong global understanding of biopharma, drug development lifecycle and operational clinical trial delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (GCP/ICH).
• Strong business acumen with financial considerations and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer management and ability to navigate stakeholders and deliver solutions.
• Proven leadership to manage a virtual team in a matrix organization.
• Strategic thinking to align project goals with organizational objectives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and related software.
• Experience in Clinical Research Organization (CRO) industry.

Responsibilities

• Actively collaborate with Sales, Medical, Operations, and other functions to develop tailor-made strategies for proposals and programs.
• Scan landscape and develop long-term implementation strategies to maximize value.
• Maintain understanding of current and future market trends affecting delivery strategies.
• Champions project-centric delivery by helping teams implement sold strategies.
• Drive data utilization to build project strategies across external and internal sources.
• Mentor Project Leaders to present strategy to clients and stakeholders.
• Support Sales in customer and bid defense preparation and meetings.
• Attend and lead bid defenses or customer meetings as required.
• Identify quality issues in studies and guide corrective actions.
• Ensure budgets meet financial goals, including Gross New Business.
