Job summary

IQVIA Portugal seeks a Therapeutic Strategy Lead to develop and implement delivery strategies during the RFP/bid defense cycle, coordinating Sales, Medical and Operations to support business development.

You will guide project leaders, mentor teams, align data-driven strategies with client needs, and help deliver compelling proposals while navigating regulatory and clinical trial considerations.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory and commercial landscape in biopharma.
• Strong awareness of biopharma drug development lifecycle and operational clinical trial delivery.
• Familiarity with GCP/ICH regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Operations and other functions to develop tailor-made strategies for proposals.
• Scan landscape and develop long-term implementation strategies to maximize opportunities.
• Understand market trends impacting delivery strategies and project execution.
• Champion project centricity by enabling delivery teams to implement sold project strategies.
• Leverage internal and external data to build robust project strategies and guide teams.
• Mentor Project Leaders to present strategies to clients and stakeholders.
• Support Sales in customer meetings and bid defenses with training and preparation.
• Attend and lead meetings as required.
• Identify quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure budgets meet financial goals including Gross New Business.
