Job summary

AVEC is seeking a French-speaking Helpdesk Support Technician (m/f/x) to join our tech support team. The role focuses on assisting users of a financial and accounting management platform for SMEs, with remote work in Portugal and quarterly on-site visits to Porto.

You will handle requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide high‑level support, collaborating across teams. Training covers tools, product knowledge, customer management, and software skills, with a daily 40-hour schedule and probation.

Qualifications

• French C2 required for customer support.
• English B2 required for internal communication.
• Resident in Portugal is mandatory.
• Knowledge of MySQL for data checks and queries.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Slack for team collaboration.
• Strong typing and fast data entry skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Customer‑oriented with efficient ticket handling.
• Teamwork and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle French‑language support requests via phone, email and chat.
• Provide third‑line technical assistance for applications.
• Analyze issues, errors and data inconsistencies.
• Assist users with problem resolution for specific apps.
• Follow protocols and ensure correct tool usage.
• Verify customer data in the database to prevent errors.
• Suggest improvements based on recurring incidents.
• Participate in training and ongoing development.
• Perform additional tasks related to the support function.
