Job summary

GoCardless Ltd. is seeking a Solution Engineer II to join the Sales team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will be the technical lead during engagements with merchants, qualifying, shaping, closing and supporting opportunities while guiding on API integrations and product demos.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and implementation teams to design and present effective solutions that accelerate merchant growth and ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

Experience as a pre-sales or post-sales solution engineer.
Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Experience with API tools and building integrations with Payment Service Providers.
Programming skills in at least one common programming language.

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team on new and existing opportunities.
Present and craft demos showcasing our product.
Perform technical discovery and architecting solution designs for prospects.
Work closely with our product team on product improvements and feature requests.
Collaborate with implementation managers and customer success teams to ensure a smooth journey for clients.
