Job summary

GoCardless Ltd, a Mollie company, is seeking a Solution Engineer to be the primary technical lead in engagements with merchants. You will qualify, shape, close and support opportunities, providing technical guidance while partnering with our sales teams.

You will craft demos, perform technical discovery, architect solution designs, and work with product, implementation and customer success to ensure a smooth journey for clients.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales or post-sales solution engineer experience.
• Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with API tools such as Postman and debugging/logging tools.
• Programming skills in at least one common programming language.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical lead during merchant engagements.
• Qualify, shape, close and support new and existing opportunities with sales.
• Provide technical guidance alongside sales teams.
• Present demos and perform technical discovery; architect solution designs for prospects.
• Collaborate with product, implementation and customer success teams to ensure a smooth client journey.
