Job summary

CloserHire, in partnership with a leading international technology services provider, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for our multilingual IT support project based in Lisbon. You will join an international team delivering first-line support to business users, troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues, and ensuring service quality across multiple technologies.

Ideal candidates have entry-level technical background, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent level of Italian and English proficiency (C1)
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ticketing systems or remote technical support is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and grow in IT field

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to business customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues; log and prioritize incidents
• Escalate complex issues to specialized support teams when required
• Perform remote troubleshooting and assist users through screen sharing and remote access tools
• Monitor, update, and follow up on support cases until resolution
• Document incidents accurately and maintain customer records in internal systems
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Deliver a professional customer experience while maintaining high technical standards
