Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a French-speaking Technical Support Representative for a remote role based in Portugal. You will provide product support to platform users, troubleshoot MySQL issues, and collaborate with developers in English to resolve complex platform challenges.

The role requires native or fluent French and strong English, with hands-on MySQL knowledge. Training will be on-site in Porto for two weeks, after which the position becomes fully remote with occasional Porto office days.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent French (C1/C2) with strong professional English skills (minimum B2).
• Solid working knowledge of MySQL is essential.
• Familiarity with Postman or API testing tools is considered an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification (or higher).
• No prior work experience required; MySQL knowledge is the primary requirement.
• Availability to attend two weeks of on-site training in Porto.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in French to customers and liaise with developers in English via chat and voice channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and database-related inquiries using MySQL.
• Escalate unresolved or complex technical bugs to the software development team with clear documentation.
• Deliver timely and accurate technical solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
• Translate technical specifications into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical users.
