Job summary

Viva.com is expanding its field sales team in Portugal. The role focuses on actively promoting company services directly to merchants, onboarding new clients on the field, and ensuring smooth activation and ongoing support.

You will visit clients, present product features, and collaborate with an international fintech team. A 2+ years track in business development or payments is preferred, with English and Portuguese fluency and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote company services and onboard new merchants on field;
• Assist merchants with verification and activation processes;
• Monitor portfolio performance and address arising issues;
• Present product features and benefits effectively;
• Visit clients and attend industry events to strengthen relationships.

• 2+ years of experience in business development ideally in the payment sector. FMCG, Retail or any other relevant sales function would be also welcomed;

• Ability to identify both business potential and added value in technology-driven commercial solutions;
• Be a strong stakeholder with engagement skills and the ability to interact confidently with a wide variety of people at all levels;
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver parallel projects;
• Strong language skills with the ability to speak English and Portuguese at a business level.
