The QA Supervisor ensures that all functions and duties within the scope of responsibility are executed and complied properly and consistently to achieve product safety and high standards of quality. This position also ensures full implementation and compliance to Food Safety and Quality Systems such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Pre-requisite programs and HACCP system in the Production Line. It also supervises QA Associates and Officers that their individual duties and responsibilities are done accurately and consistently.
Production Process Quality Compliance Monitoring and Improvement
Ensures that all processes are consistently monitored and compliant to the quality standards
Provide support in the evaluation of alternative and substitute materials
Communication with the Production Supervisors/other Department Heads on any non-conformity to facilitate CAPA implementation and closure
Provide action plans in controlling and managing wastage and coordinate with the concerned departments
Accomplish CAR and issuance to concerned department. Monitoring of CAPA submission and ensure implementation and closure
Production and Other areas GMP/HACCP Compliance
Plan, Facilitate and coordinates GMP/HACCP refresher training to FSQMS group
Ensures implementation of GMP/HACCP System in the production line
Conducts GMP/HACCP audit and ensure compliance
Correction and Corrective action closure of external audit findings
Coordination of audit observations with the responsible sections and come up with the CAPA of each non-conformity
Gives CAPA plan to the external auditor and follow up acceptance
Monitor the closure of each observed non-conformity and verification process for possible recurrence
Conducts investigation and root cause analysis of store and customer complaints and provide recommendations
Food Safety Management System and Process Improvement
Provide improvement projects related to Food Safety and Quality Systems within the scope of responsibility
Ensure compliance to all internal or external audits and closure of CAPA
Administrative and Operational Efficiency
Ensures that all functions are performed accurately and finished in a timely manner
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Superior
Shall be able to provide assistance to all QA Divisions
Participation in the cost savings program
Higher degree of punctuality
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biology, Material Science Engineering and other science related courses
Minimum of 4-years full time work experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems in Food Industry
With Supervisory or Assistant Manager position from previous job
Full experience in Production line quality assurance management
Full knowledge in Quality Assurance system from receiving, production line and dispatching.
Thorough experience on GMP, GWP, GTP, HACCP while knowledge in ISO and FSSC 22000 either commissary and restaurant operations
Applicants must be willing to work onsite in our Head Office located at Marian Industrial Park, San Martin De Porres, Paranaque
