EQUIP Recruitment is working alongside a group of well-established engineering and manufacturing companies in Christchurch to fill multiple roles for experienced Stainless & Aluminium Fabricators.

These are long-term opportunities for trade-qualified professionals who take pride in precision work and want to be part of high-performing, well-supported teams.

You'll be working in modern, well-equipped workshops, fabricating a range of stainless and aluminium components to exacting standards. Projects vary across industries with some clients involved in marine fabrication, food-grade production and architectural metalwork.

• Fabrication and welding of stainless steel and aluminium components to specification
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Performing MIG, TIG and ARC welding to a high standard
• Working collaboratively with workshop teams to meet production and quality targets

• NZ trade qualification in fabrication or welding (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with stainless steel and aluminium
• Marine fabrication experience is highly desirable
• Current NZ welding tickets for stainless and aluminium are highly desirable
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to health & safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
