Job summary
A reputable publishing company in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager to supervise the book printing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal manufacturing efficiency and quality standards. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in printing or chemical/paper manufacturing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise manufacturing process of book printing operation.
- Ensure book or material meets print quality standards.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Manage and motivate production staff.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies.
