Job summary
A manufacturing company in Malaysia is searching for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations and support IPO readiness. Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of experience in finance, preferably within manufacturing. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, along with ensuring audit readiness for IPO. Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders are essential. Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and audit standards.
- Prior involvement in IPO preparation or public company reporting is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Implement and monitor risk management and internal controls.

Education
We are seeking an experienced and Finance Manager to lead financial operations and support IPO readiness for a manufacturing company. This role requires a strong background in finance, compliance, and stakeholder management, with prior experience in public company reporting or IPO preparation.
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Manage cash flow and treasury operations
- Implement and monitor risk management and internal controls
- Drive financial due diligence and ensure audit readiness for IPO
- Coordinate with legal, audit, tax, and investment banking advisors
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Managing Director
- Member of a recognized accounting body
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in manufacturing
- Prior involvement in IPO preparation or public company reporting is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and audit standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work with external advisors
- Chinese‑speaking candidates are preferred
