The Finance manager will oversee the financial management and reporting for the plant in Malaysia. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local law and company policies, and support business unit operational leaders. The Finance Controller will work closely with local site managers and senior management to provide financial insights, drive consistency in monthly Closing and Reporting processes, oversee Internal Controls and drive financial operations efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

● Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.

● Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

● Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and investment in growth initiatives.

● Implement and monitor robust financial systems and procedures to safeguard company assets.

● Serve as a strategic partner to operation leaders, offering financial insight and guidance to improve business performance.

●Foster a high-performance culture within the finance team, ensuring continuous development and engagement of team members.

● Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

●10+years of experience in accounting, costing and controllership functions, including at least 5 years in a similar Controller role

● Fluent in English and Chinese

● Experience in SAP implementation is preferred.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax policies and regulatory requirements.

● Strong analytical skills and able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
