Job summary

The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily accounting operations, manage full accounts, and mentor junior staff. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing daily accounting and finance operations
  • Handle full set accounts
  • Assist in managing Accounts Payable functions and preparing cash flow statements
  • Monitor and manage daily financial operations, including payments, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
  • Manage inter-company billing & E-invoice submission, ensure timely closing of monthly accounts
  • Review and ensure accurate submission of bi-monthly SST submissions
  • Monitor inventory movements, shrinkage, stock adjustments, and cost of sales
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance/accounting staff
  • Able to do an analytical review and work independently
  • Perform other ad hoc assignments as and when required
Qualifications
  • Preferably with experience in the Food & Beverage industry, and familiarity with XERO accounting system
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years in finance, accounting, or financial operations
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, internal controls, and compliance
  • Ability to manage high-pressure environments and meet deadlines
