Job summary
A prominent law firm in Selangor is seeking a legal professional to conduct research, draft legal documents, and attend court meetings. Ideal candidates should possess an LLB and be called to the Malaysian Bar. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English and advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word are essential. The firm offers a transparent salary structure with additional profit-sharing opportunities.

- Candidate should be computer literate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research with CLJ/MLJ.
- Update file status and prepare legal documents.
- Attend court meeting, e-review, and case management.
Skills
Education
- to do research laws with CLJ/MLJ (minimum requirement)
- to update in file status [server]/Court's Diary
- to draft letter, prepare letter to send out, and update in the runner's list
- to be able to draft cause papers - affidavit, originating summons, statement of claim, writ
- to draft conveyancing documentations (with guidance)
- to draft shareholder's agreements
- to draft tax dispute documentations
- to attend court meeting/e-review/case management
- Possess LLB
- Called to the Malaysian Bar (as in Long Call)
- able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia & English (minimum)
- able to drive and travel to court/government agencies/land office
- Advance knowledge in Excel, Micsoft Word and Gdrive
- Candidate should be computer literate and have good typing skills
- Experience in preparing documents in using mail-merge is an added advantage
