A leading electronics manufacturer in Malaysia seeks an Engineering Director to develop and implement engineering strategies, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant engineering field, over 10 years of experience in product development, and strong leadership skills. This role requires excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage innovative projects effectively.

- Identify and implement cost‑effective raw material options and develop strategies for cost containment.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle, including process optimization, prototype creation, and final product delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
- Ensure the successful completion of all projects through effective project management, regular monitoring, and follow‑up.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the engineering team.
- Drive innovation, manage equipment and infrastructure, and collaborate with other departments such as R&D and production.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in product development within the electronics industry.
- Demonstrated track record of successful product development and delivery.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to translate market and customer requirements into innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proven business acumen.
