A leading global technology company based in Jalisco is seeking a Drafter to create and modify CAD models and drawings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of mechanical drafting experience and be proficient in PTC PDMLink / Creo, MS Word, and MS Excel. Responsibilities include supporting engineering change requests and assisting in data analysis for projects. Advanced English and teamwork skills are essential. Job Description

Drafter works with Design Engineers and independently creates and/or modifies CAD models and drawings, processes engineering change requests, performs support functions for the engineering department to help complete design projects, and support projects within the Engineering & Administrative Support groups.

• 2D drafting and 3D modelling support work
• Change Management support for ECR/ECN processing
• Drawing conversion imperial => metric units, HF => Bosch Rexroth drawing format
• Assist in data analysis / cleansing tasks for SAP transition project P5R => PR0
• FMEA transition support (monitoring / Delta FMEA’s / annual revisits / measure tracking…)
• MTTFd evaluation support (evaluation for products based on Rexroth established procedure)
• Assist with annual FMEA claims check (design related)
• Support for cost saving projects (mainly related to tech change management)

Education and Experience:

• Minimum two year technical / drafting education (prefer certificate or degree) or equivalent
• work experience
• Two years minimum mechanical drafting / modelling work experience
• Proficient with following computer software programs such as PTC PDMLink / Creo, MS Word,
• MS Excel
• Knowledge of basic design practices and geometric tolerance practices
• Comfortable with basic mechanical design concepts (how component parts fit / interact with each other within an assembly)
