Responsibilities
- Inventory Control for Manufactured Items
- Oversee shipping warehouse space control
- Provide reliable business data by using SAP
- Establish reliable standard cost scenarios for alternative freight solution
- Support FFT MX Supply Chain department by identifying standard work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow including paperwork in a safe yet efficient manner.
- Ensure correct shipment of international orders and hazardous material orders.
- Manage freight carrier negotiations for pricing to ensure best overall value for company.
Qualifications
- Education: International Commerce Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Functional Knowledge: 10 years of work experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing Management, with direct and progressive Traffic experience (in Mexico mainly) – With Managerial position experience previously. Customs Operation Certified (COMCE). Deep Knowledge on Customs and Commerce Laws, Anexo 21, 21 and 31 and Inventory Control. Essential knowledge for warehouse safety and waste handling. Deep Knowledge on IVA and IEPS Certification and Incoterms. Broad understanding of Mexico electronic governmental data compliance. Import/Export tax compliance experience required.
- Business expertise: Good command of computer skills. Import/Export experience with NAFTA/USMCA required. Best practice know-how in inbound and outbound logistics, sourcing planning and strategic and operational procurement. Knowledge of local customs regulations as well as international customs and import and export regulations. ERP know-how, preferable SAP, and high IT affinity.
- Problem solving: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate/interface across all organizational levels. Process- and solution-oriented thinking, as well as analytical skills. Negotiation skills and strong negotiator. Work on daily problems and operational issues. Good problem-solving ability.
- Computer skills: SAP. MS Officer.
