A leading technology company is seeking a strategic leader for its LATAM Central Operations team. This role involves driving business planning and delivering insights that shape pricing and growth. The Strategy, Planning & Analytics (SP&A) team shapes Uber Eats’ strategic and operational direction across LATAM Central Operations. We bring together data‑driven insights and business strategy to ensure alignment, prioritization, and measurable impact across the region.
This role combines strategic leadership and analytical depth, acting as the link between Operations, Product, Finance, and the Automation & Analytics teams. You’ll drive business planning, design analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable insights that shape pricing, competitiveness, and long‑term growth for the region.
Lead complex, cross‑functional programs that advance Central Ops strategic priorities across multiple verticals.
Manage quarterly and annual planning cycles, consolidating inputs and ensuring priorities align with regional goals.
Build analytical and financial frameworks to evaluate growth opportunities, resource allocation, and operational trade‑offs.
Use data and metrics (C/R, DR, ATD, Storefront Growth) to connect operational performance with profitability and strategy.
Track progress, manage risks, and ensure accountability across teams.
Partner with analytics teams to evaluate market dynamics, pricing elasticity, and customer behavior.
Conduct deep‑drive analyses to identify drivers of growth, efficiency, and churn.
Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
Maintain and evolve strategic frameworks (e.g., Executional Excellence, Metrics Governance) for consistency across teams.
Align cross‑functional groups around measurable goals, progress tracking, and accountability.
Collaborate with Automation & Analytics to identify opportunities for automation and data scalability.
Support senior leadership with structured narratives, financial modeling, and data visualization to guide key decisions.
Represent LATAM in global discussions, advocating for regional needs through data‑backed insights.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in program or project management, strategy, analytics, business planning, consulting, or operations.
Strong business judgment with the ability to translate analytics into strategic recommendations.
Technical proficiency in SQL.
Proven success leading cross‑functional initiatives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior audiences.
Experience with OKRs, governance models, or program management best practices.
Background in marketplace dynamics, pricing strategy, or growth analytics.
Familiarity with AI tools, experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), and statistical modeling.
Experience in data modeling, forecasting, machine learning, or econometrics (e.g., regressions, causal inference, optimization).
Experience in technology, marketplace, or high‑growth operational environments.
Experience with Python.
