Formación

• 7+ years of backend development experience using Java, especially with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and microservices.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and message brokers.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Deep knowledge of TDD, BDD, and Agile development.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Working proficiency in English and Spanish.

What you\'ll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you\'ll help architect and scale backend services that power mission-critical features. You\'ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are performant, maintainable, and aligned with both technical and business goals.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Architecting scalable systems based on microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs
• Building integrations with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
• Leveraging event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Driving DevOps best practices with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Operating within AWS and applying cloud-native architecture principles
• Applying TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality releases
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural strategy

Who you are

We\'re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves

• 7+ years of backend development experience using Java, especially with Spring/Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and microservices
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and message brokers
