A global leader in sustainability and automation is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Santiago de Querétaro. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing compliance with safety and quality systems, managing production schedules, and mentoring a large team. Candidates must have a degree in a related field and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Formación

  • Manage production schedules according to cost, quality, and lead time.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and coach teams.

What do you get to do in this position?
  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
  • As a supervisor act as the legal responsible in case of accident
  • Participate at the load / resource balance with the manufacturing manager
  • Ensure achievement of production schedules in accordance with the objectives of cost, quality, lead time
  • Responsible for the performance of a production / manufacturing sector through hierarchical animation of teams.
  • Aligns resources with needs within short- & medium-term horizon, elaborates training plans where necessary for successful execution of standardized work, leads short interval management at sector level, formulates / escalates issues where necessary.
  • Strong contributor to continuous improvement.
  • Adjust manufacturing programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems
  • Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined
  • Contribute to the industrial processes improvement with the functions supports
  • Participate at investment proposals, transverse projects & action plan at the plant level
Requirements
  • Degree in related fields
  • 2+ years experience as a manufacturing supervisor
  • Leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Mandatory: Experience with direct reports, leading a team of at least 25 people or more
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5's, 8d reports, Kaizen, etc.
  • Experience managing payroll administration systems (incidents, attendance, overtime, etc)
  • Strong sense of responsability
  • Time availability to work in shift 1 and 2
  • Intermediated-Advanced English Level
