Job Description:
Global People Experience Director

Location: Warsaw, Poland or Queretaro, Mexico
Type: Permanent, On-site
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits

This is your opportunity to lead the global People Experience strategy at Mars. As a senior leader in our Global People Operations & Experience team, you’ll shape the processes, systems, and services that impact 130,000+ Associates worldwide. You’ll lead a diverse team across associate experience, global process ownership and continuous improvement — ensuring our work is people‑centred, digitally enabled, and continuously evolving.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Define and lead the global People Experience strategy and roadmap, aligned to Mars’ purpose and Associate needs
  • Oversee global ownership of core people processes — including Talent, Learning, Core HR and Rewards — with a focus on experience, consistency and value
  • Lead our Associate Experience (AX) function, driving research, listening and persona‑led design to evolve services
  • Shape and deploy our global service delivery model in collaboration with Digital Technologies, Segments and Centres of Expertise
  • Build and lead a high‑performing, inclusive team across Global Experience Operations, Process Ownership, AX and Continuous Improvement
What are we looking for?
  • 10+ years’ experience in HR or People Operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership
  • Proven expertise in global transformation, process design or service delivery
  • Strong technical knowledge in automation, AI/ML and HR systems (Workday a plus)
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working across global, matrixed organisations
Nice to have:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or Business Process Management training
  • Background in Global Business Services (GBS) environments or Shared Services.
