Job Summary

Manages the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. Oversees the facilities function at Cummins San Luis Potosí, SLP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities team supporting all Cummins sites in San Luis Potosí.
• Collaborate with leaders from various business units to provide strategic support aligned with business objectives, including budget planning and execution of operational strategies.
• Drive capital planning and execution: Global Integrated Services budget, Business Unit budget, Environmental budget.
• Support required certification audits: IATF, ISO14001, ISO50001, HSE.
• Own operational KPI’s of the Facilities function.
• Lead electrical safety initiative in the campus in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in infrastructure projects: MEP (Mechanical‑Electrical‑Plumbing) installations, Construction projects.
• Develop and support community projects, promote accessibility and inclusive workplace through ERG ThisAbility.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the facility.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in facility operations, capital planning, and budget management.
• More than 5 years’ experience in a Facilities Operation Manager position.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Familiarity with certification audits (IATF, ISO14001, ISO50001, HSE) and operational KPIs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across business units.
• Desirable experience in Integrated Facilities Management Model (EFM). External Contracts Services: Hard and Soft Services.
• Commitment to team development, inclusivity, and community engagement initiatives.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
