Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and designing systems that regulate automatic processes.
- Ensure that processes behave in a stable, efficient, and safe manner.
- Guarantee the correct traceability of products.
- Maintain the control equipment on the production lines at the highest level.
- Constantly work to improve processes by implementing and developing projects that improve OEE in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams.
- Release new projects under the standard regime.
Technical Duties
- Design and implement automatic control systems to regulate variables such as pressure, level, visual aids, and component traceability.
- Comply with the backup frequency of the control equipment for the different lines.
- Maintain production lines in compliance and reduce downtime by working together with maintenance to find opportunities where we can reduce the impact of major shutdowns.
- Review and approve new projects that come to the plant to ensure that standards are always met.
- Work on migrating obsolete control equipment from all lines and bringing them up to their latest level, such as modifying electrical diagrams and within the process.
- Document all changes made within the process systems.
- Define activities based on TOP 3 technical downtime and provide the necessary resources in cooperation with quality and manufacturing. Follow-up based on PDCA and advanced problem-solving methodology, including cross-reading, 8D. Define the need and request resources for external maintenance of special process equipment such as laser/ultrasonic welding, laser marking, pressing, screwdrivers, test benches, etc.
- Regularly attend production meetings as a DLR that require maintenance attention. Request resources from maintenance shift supervisors to carry out the defined activities.
- Generate procedures and work instructions that aid in the understanding of control technicians.
- Support lessons learned/interpret new equipment or equipment upgrades in order to improve technical feasibility and maintenance.
Qualifications
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic, Robotics, and Industrial Maintenance.
Years of experience: 3-7.
English: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization.
Proficiency
- Proficient in Cognex vision systems programming.
- Proficient in Keyence vision system programming.
- Proficient in ABB Robot Programming.
- Proficient in Programming Rexroth screwdriving systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of special processes.
- Proficient in Kistler pressing system programming.
- Proficient in tox, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
