A leading events organization is hiring a full-time Event Marketing Specialist to support and manage various marketing strategies for assigned events in Mexico City. The role involves communication with speakers and exhibitors, supervising event staff, and logistics coordination. Candidates should possess a degree in Marketing or related fields, along with 2-4 years of experience in strategic marketing and strong copywriting skills. Requirements and competence
Strategy and Management
  • Support and comply with the content marketing strategy aligned with the business and portfolio objectives planned by the coordination for the assigned events.
  • Monitoring and coordinating the conference program event logistics and supply (audiovisual print simultaneous translation hostesses among others venue coordination
  • Communication with speakers and exhibitors: Responsible for communication with speakers and exhibitors before during and after the event. This includes ensuring that they are informed of the details of the event and that their expectations are met.
  • Supervising event staff: Supervising event staff to ensure that deadlines are met and assigned tasks are completed. This may include checking food and beverage services support staff suppliers audiovisuals translation and anyone else involved in the event.
  • Troubleshooting: Being able to effectively identify and solve problems during the event. This may include staff technical supplier attendee and exhibitor issues.
  • Logistics coordination and creation of digital content for the various assigned portfolios
Physical Content

Create coordinate and propose new improvement strategies for the in-person content of the shows

Define and shape the conference program and all content areas of the event confirm speakers and provide timely follow-up from the beginning to the completion of the event.

Support in the coordination and logistical monitoring of the sponsored content of each event

Digital Content

Create and monitor the digital content of the programs with the team: Content Blog Video interviews Industry Reports Ebooks etc.

Propose and implement new strategies and formats of digital content to the content management of the different shows.

Qualifications

Degree in Marketing Administration Public Relations Communication Journalism and related areas;

  • Intermediate English
  • Experience in strategic marketing plan and people/team management: 2- 4 years
  • Strong Copywriting Skills: Proficient in crafting compelling and persuasive copy that resonates with the target audience drives engagement and communicates key messages effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • People Skills: Adept at forming strong relationships with team members stakeholders and consumers.
