The role entails creating dashboards to improve operational efficiency within a hybrid manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Intelligence or related fields, has over 3 years of experience in data analytics, and excels in tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms. Proficiency in English is required.

Formación

  • Experience in advanced data analysis and visualization to support decision-making.
  • English proficiency (85%) required.

Job Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making across a hybrid manufacturing environment that includes legacy manual processes and advanced automated systems. This position is responsible for building, consolidating, and optimizing production databases, developing dashboards, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and quality. The role collaborates closely with the Sr. Manufacturing Improvement Engineer and other stakeholders to enable continuous improvement and prepare the organization for full automation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain production databases for manual processes and integrate data from automated systems.
  • Create and optimize dashboards and KPIs to provide real-time visibility into manufacturing performance.
  • Perform advanced data analysis and visualization to identify trends, predict process variations, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data insights and recommendations.
  • Drive automation of reporting processes and integration of systems to streamline data flow.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Document data models, workflows, and reporting structures for transparency and scalability.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to align data strategies with operational goals.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Ensure all project or improvement consistently comply with quality management systems and applicable medical device regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA).
  • Lead and support continuous improvement culture using our EBS (Envista Business System) principles and tools.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Licenciatura en Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • +3 years experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles, preferably in manufacturing.
  • High-level expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL, database management, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MES platforms for production data management.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • English (85%).
Preferred Requirements
  • Skills in automation scripting or integration (Python, R, or similar).
  • Experience medical devices industry.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and digitalization.
Travel
  • Valid visa and availability to travel.
