As a Design Engineer, you will work in a dynamic technical environment where you are responsible for designing and developing high-quality mechanical components, machines, and systems. You will be part of an innovative team and contribute to challenging projects for one of our clients across various industries, such as machinery, automation, or automotive. Your expertise in mechanical design and creative solutions will play a crucial role in developing efficient and reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing custom mechanical components, machines, and systems for automation and machinery projects.
• Maintaining contact with the client to translate their requirements, specifications, and technical needs into an appropriate design. You will also provide technical advice and alternatives to meet their needs based on your expertise.
• Developing concepts into detailed 3D models and production drawings.
• Ensuring that the design complies with relevant industry standards and regulations, and being involved in quality control processes.
• Selecting the appropriate materials and components for optimal performance.
• Taking care of the technical documentation and reporting of your design from start to finish.
• Supporting the testing, validation, and improvement of prototypes and existing systems to optimize your designs.
• Actively contributing to the improvement of design standards and work processes.

What do you bring?

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in machinery or automation.
• Experience with design software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of production methods and material selection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills in English.
