Duties and Responsibilities

As a Waiter/Waitress Stageur, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:

• Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively.
• Escort guests to the table, assist in seating, and present the menu.
• Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in department standards.
• Take orders from any food & beverage outlet menus.
• Inspect the condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list.
• Work with an empathetic attitude.
• Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by standards.
• Ensure all mise-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hours.
• Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day-to-day activities.
• Be familiar with all F&B outlets' opening hours.
• Know menu prices and suggest upselling when appropriate.
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Maintain and exceed performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state regulations.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Eligible to work in Italy (only EU Citizens).
