Job Description:

Based in Italy, we are searching for a talented Electrical Designer who shares our values, with innovative capacity for working with us by integrating into a diverse team that works together.

The candidate will be responsible for developing the electrical equipment project of a refrigeration machine, from initial technical specifications to testing the production line. They will ensure that schematics, devices, and calculations comply with standards to guarantee safety and functionality. Collaboration with departments such as Quotations, R&D, 3D Modeling, Testing, and Service will be essential to meet delivery times and budget constraints.

Work Experience & Education Requirements

• Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of electrical diagram software; Eplan knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of RS-485 networks and Modbus protocol
• Basic knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming languages

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Collaborating with the Quotation Office to estimate electrical panel costs
• Working with R&D on thermodynamic circuit diagrams and operational logic
• Creating electrical diagrams using Eplan Pro Panel and Eplan Cogineer
• Interacting with clients for schematic approvals and custom features
• Selecting and sizing protection devices according to IEC standards
• Choosing electrical components like PLCs, relays, sensors, etc.
• Parameterizing inverters, controllers, and PLCs
• Verifying component placement and thermal management in panels
• Coordinating with suppliers and testing departments to ensure quality and compliance
• Performing functional and safety testing of switchboards and automation systems
