Test Automation Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a developer and maintainer for the test automation of various core components of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.

The candidate should have insight into how various Linux components work and possess knowledge of networking to debug connectivity issues.

Location: Czech Republic, Bulgaria... (remote work possible)

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular

Responsibilities include:

• Developing tests for the openQA automation framework
• Testing networking and core functionalities
• Collaborating on cross-team QA automation development
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests
• Reviewing test results and reporting issues
• Scaling automation processes
• Documentation and process improvement
• Contributing to the community distribution

Required Skills and Experience:

• Good knowledge of Linux OS and networking
• Experience with Cloud technologies (desirable)
• Interest in automation; experience welcome
• Commitment to testing innovation
• English proficiency
• Open Source contribution experience (a plus)
• Analytical mindset, reliability, teamwork, good communication
• Availability for occasional international travel
