A leading technology consultancy is seeking a Technical Solution Designer with AI experience for remote work in Italy. The role involves leading technical design for IT solutions and requires strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidates should have a background in modern software architecture, Agile methodologies, and experience designing complex solutions. This is a full-time position with a start date in January 2026, offering a one-year contract with possible extension.

RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently looking for a Technical Solution Designer with experience in AI to take part in new projects they have with Telecommunications customer.

Role details:

• Role: Technical Solution Designer + AI
• Start: Jan 2026
• Duration: 1 Year + Possible extension
• Location: 100% Remote – Italy
• Capacity: Full time
• Language: English

Solution Designer capable of leading the technical design of IT solutions in synergy with architects, engineering leads, and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Organize in-depth meetings on requirements and processes
• Participate in Technical Design Authority (TDA) sessions
• Gather details on the architectural design of solutions and provide feedback from the team on the feasibility of proposed solutions
• Manage the definition of technical solutions for the systems managed by the team, ensuring a clear understanding of the requirements to be implemented and providing clarifications during the development cycle
• Optimize solutions, if necessary, based on project progress and business requirements
• Prepare documentation to consolidate the identified solutions
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any issues

Experience

• Experience designing complex IT solutions
• Knowledge of modern software architectures (cloud-native, microservices, API-driven)
• Technical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and modelling tools (UML, ArchiMate)
• Excellent communication and mediation skills between technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of AI and Agentic AI technologies (AWS AgentCore preferred)
