The SNA (System&Network Administrator) is the first level support for the User Ground Segment end‑user systems. He/She executes all activities related to system administration of the UGS (User Ground Segment) executing preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. He/She shall work in an integrated team following H12 5/7 and H8 weekend, work shift c/o Aeroporto di Pratica di Mare.

Responsibilities
  • Technical supervision of mission systems (HW/SW)
  • Technical (HW/SW) anomalies management: investigation and analysis of anomalies
  • Corrective and preventive maintenance management: routine and scheduled audits of all systems
  • System administration policy
  • UGS internal network and front‑end network administration: monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance
  • Definition and maintenance of workarounds and troubleshooting procedures
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Experience with IT/ground segment technologies: relational databases, virtualization, networking, etc.
  • English knowledge B2‑C1 level
  • Knowledge of networking, network protocols and related issues
  • Basic knowledge of ICT security elements
