Ali Professional, on behalf of a long‑established client in the bicycle industry (a manufacturer of bicycles and technical components) is searching a candidate for the position of Supply Chain & Buyer.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast demand and plan inventory levels using MRP to balance cost and service objectives.
• Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Manage product data in SAP.
• Implement and maintain ERP or supply chain management systems.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with business goals.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead time, inventory turnover, and production output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2‑3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or planning.
• Industry experience in cycling, automotive or other industrial buying/planning is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite); SAP B1 experience is a plus.
• Ability to implement and apply MRP parameters, safety stocks and supply chain methodologies.
• Use and manage of SQL query and strong Excel skills required.
• Ability to forecast and statistically process historical data.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Experience in import procedures is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to work cross‑functionally, manage teams.
• In‑depth understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and cost optimization.
• Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM is a plus.
