A leading renewable energy company in Rome is seeking an experienced professional to manage environmental impact assessments and permitting procedures for wind farm projects. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has 3-7 years of experience. Fluency in English and Italian is required. Overview

Vestas is an international leader company in wind turbines with our own brand and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the preparation and reviewing of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, feasibility studies, environmental Due Diligence for wind farm projects.
• Perform site visits at project sites for the preliminary identification of potential environmental criticalities to be managed during the development phase.
• Manage permitting procedures of the projects under development (i.e. for Italy: Environmental Impact Assessment procedures, Single Authorization, PAUR. etc.)
• Manage public consultation with stakeholders and meeting with Authorities during the permitting phase

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental or scientific discipline (i.e. Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geology, etc.)
• 3-7 years of experience in the delivery of EIA (and ESIA where applicable)
• Fluency in English and Italian: we are an international company in constant communication with international stakeholders.

Additional information
